So hey everyone. Sorry I haven't been on, its been one of the worst weeks of my life. I'll start at the beginning, back in January. My job search began then and since then all I've received are rejections and emails saying I don't have enough experience, even janitorial positions! Then my Dad doesn't get paid from January to April and when he finally does get paid its not for the full amount. His company still had him do all the work and kept saying they'd pay, but when it came time to hold up their end of the bargain they said they didn't have the full amount and he'd have to deal with that. At this time I'm still getting turned down for work and then I get told I won't be getting into the academy until October at the earliest or January next year at the latest. Then comes graduation. Look, I love my family but anytime you have them all together it creates a LOT of stress! Next my folks place is broken into and they lose $14,000 which isn't going to be covered by the insurance company. Then my Dad's hours get cut down by 20 hours which means he'll be making a lot less money. Then, just when I think it can't get any worse, my girlfriend of two and a half years decides she needs to be alone so she can figure things out.

That was rock bottom. I was an emotional train wreck and all I could keep thinking was I was alone, I had no job, and no future. A day later, a damn day later I get a phone call from the Police Academy. They were offering me a seat in the June academy, the very last seat. From there I found out that my girlfriend still loves me and wants to be with me, but she needs to be alone until she can figure out what it is exactly that she wants. She's also leaving for the Peace Corps later this year. I'm hoping she'll come back to me, but I've also found that she needs to do what's best for her and honestly I think this is what's for the best. If she comes back, she comes back. If not, she's still the best friend I've ever had and she always will be. Anyway, its probably for the best since I'll be int he academy from 5 AM to 5 PM Monday to Thursday for 5 months so we wouldn't get a chance to spend much time together anyway.

So, that's what my week has consisted of, trying to find that silver lining. I think I found it, but I'm still coping with the loss of Beth. What it comes down to is my plans for the summer are pretty much off. I don't even get to celebrate my birthday since it falls on a day of academy. When I get home from the academy I'm just gonna want to go to sleep. I'm going to still keep up with all my work on DA, but I'm gonna be dead tired at the end of the day.
