Juniper Kim Lee slowly opened her eyes to stare up at the ceiling of her bedroom. Another beautiful day in Orchid Bay, she thought sitting up. The sun was shining down through a cloudless sky as a light breeze wafted through her window bringing the smells of summer. Life was good.

While working on my latest fic "All That We Were," I came across some old notes on my first Juniper Lee fic and I thought I'd share them.
In the summer of 2005 I was introduced to what would become one of my all time favorite cartoons, "The Life & Times of Juniper Lee." That fall I began writing what would become the first entry in a series of fanfics about the show. "Love, Life & Regret" was a well received story, but there was a lot of stuff that never made it into the final product. Various scenes were changed or all together dropped for a number of reasons.
